Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Almonds
60g
- 2 ripe Bananas
- 1 cup Whole milk
240ml
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
120ml
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
2.5ml
- 1 cup Ice cubes
- Optional: 2 tbsp Honey or maple syrup
30ml for added sweetness
- Optional: A pinch of cinnamon
Instructions
Ensure almonds are unsalted. Optionally, soak them overnight for smoother blending.
Peel and chunk the bananas.
Combine bananas and almonds in a blender.
Add whole milk, followed by Greek yogurt.
Incorporate vanilla extract for a hint of sweetness.
Optionally, sweeten with honey or maple syrup.
Add ice cubes.
Blend on medium to high for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
Taste and optionally add cinnamon for warmth.
Notes
Tips:
- Boost protein with a scoop of protein powder.
- Out of whole milk? Try almond milk.
- Use frozen bananas for a chillier texture.
- Overripe bananas can add more sweetness.
