Ingredients

  • - Oats: 2 cups 475 ml
  • - Dark chocolate chips: 1 cup 240 ml
  • - Honey: ½ cup 120 ml
  • - Almond butter: ¼ cup 60 ml
  • - Dried fruits like cranberries or raisins: ½ cup (120 ml)
  • - Chopped nuts like almonds, walnuts: ½ cup (120 ml)
  • - Vanilla extract: 1 tsp 5 ml
  • - A pinch of salt

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the 2 cups of oats with the dried fruits and chopped nuts.
  • In a separate bowl, melt the 1 cup of dark chocolate chips.
  • To the melted chocolate, add ½ cup of honey, ¼ cup of almond butter, 1 tsp of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the chocolate mixture over the oats, dried fruits, and nuts.
  • Mix well until everything is well coated with the chocolate mixture.
  • Transfer the mixture to a baking dish lined with parchment paper.
  • Press the mixture firmly into the dish, ensuring an even layer.
  • Place the dish in the refrigerator and let the Chocolate muesli bars set for at least 2 hours.
  • After chilling, cut into 8 even bars.
