Cut that tofu into nice thick slices. Half an inch should do.
Get a bowl and mix in your ginger, garlic, soy sauce, and brown sugar. This is where the magic starts.
Mix cornstarch with water in another bowl. You’re making a slurry! Add it to your first bowl.
Time to cook that sauce. Medium heat, thickening as you go. Should take about 5 minutes.
Fire up that grill! Medium-high is your sweet spot. A bit of olive oil will prevent sticking.
Grill the tofu slices: 5 minutes each side should give you those drool-worthy grill marks.
Brush your grilled tofu with the sauce you just made. Go on, be generous.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and green onions for that final touch.
