Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
While the grill is heating, roll out your whole wheat pizza dough on a floured surface.
Make sure it’s about 1/4 inch thick.
Brush one side of the pizza dough lightly with 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Carefully place the oiled side of the dough directly onto the grill.
Grill for about 2-3 minutes or until it’s slightly charred and has grill marks.
Remove from the grill and brush the uncooked side with another tablespoon of olive oil.
On the cooked side, spread the tomato sauce evenly.
Distribute the mozzarella cheese slices on top of the sauce.
Add the thinly sliced turkey and sliced chicken sausage.
Scatter the sliced red bell pepper and minced garlic over the toppings.
Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if you’re going for that extra kick).
Carefully place the pizza back onto the grill, uncooked side down.
Allow it to cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese melts and the bottom is crisp and golden.
Remove from the grill and sprinkle fresh basil leaves on top.
Slice, serve, and let the Grilled Turkey and Sausage Pizza party begin!
