Ingredients

  • Kiwi: 2 whole approximately 200 grams
  • Pineapple: Half a medium-sized fruit approximately 500 grams
  • Greek Yogurt: 1 cup 240 ml
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons 30 ml
  • Chia seeds: 1 tablespoon 15 grams
  • Coconut milk: 1/2 cup 120 ml
  • Ice cubes: A handful optional

Instructions

  • Begin by peeling the kiwi and pineapple. Dice them into small, even-sized pieces. Reserve a few slices for garnish.
  • In a high-powered blender, add the diced kiwi, pineapple, Greek yogurt, honey, and coconut milk.
  • If you prefer a chilled smoothie bowl, toss in the handful of ice cubes now.
  • Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy, which should take about 3-4 minutes.
  • Pour the creamy smoothie mixture into two bowls, dividing evenly.
  • Sprinkle the chia seeds on top for an added nutritional punch.
  • Garnish with the reserved kiwi and pineapple slices. Drizzle a little more honey if desired.

Notes

TIPS
Always use ripe kiwis and pineapples for the best flavor.
If your smoothie bowl is too thick, you can add a splash more coconut milk to adjust the consistency.
For an added crunch, you can toss in a few granola bits or nuts of your choice.
