In a large mixing bowl, combine your drained tuna, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, chopped bell pepper, and onion.
Next, add in the minced garlic cloves.
Crack the egg into the bowl, adding your salt and black pepper for seasoning.
Mix everything thoroughly until the mixture holds together.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and shape them into patties.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the skillet.
Cook for about 7-10 minutes on each side or until the Tuna and Cheese Melt Patties are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
Remove from the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
